Marbled Orange and Chocolate Cake
If there are two foods that go together perfectly, they are orange and chocolate. I think it's the most incredible mix in the world. And if it is also in the form of a cake, things get even better.
Preparation time: 40 minutes
Rations: 4
INGREDIENTS
- 115g wholemeal flour.
- 3 eggs.
- 45g philadelphia (at room temperature).
- 50g peanut butter.
- 50g coconut oil.
- 2 oranges.
- Sweetener to taste: erythritol, stevia...
- 15g pure cocoa.
- 16g yeast.
- Chocolate 85% (approx. half a tablet).
- Chopped or diced almonds.
PREPARATION
- Beat the eggs together with the sweetener, the Philadelphia cheese, the orange zest and the orange juice and a half (reserve the other half).
- Heat the coconut oil in the microwave and mix with the peanut butter. Add it to the previous mixture.
- Add the flour and yeast. We mix.
- Take half of the dough to another bowl and add the pure cocoa and the juice of the half orange that we had reserved.
- Chop the 85% chocolate to form nuggets and mix it with the cocoa-free dough.
- Assemble the cake: in a rectangular mold add half of the dough without cocoa, on top of it the dough with cocoa and finally the remaining dough without cocoa.
- Sprinkle chopped almonds on top.
- Bake 40 minutes at 175°.
